Piiinky | Lindsey Margolis
Known for my mini vlogs, I am a Snapchat influencer and artist who loves to make you laugh! And drink coffee.
Piinky is a social media phenom who is rising up the charts as simply a very talented woman who is both funny and sincere all at once. Her monologues on Starbucks are timely and hysterical.
SCSMM: How did you first discover Snapchat?
I was readily unaware of Snapchat’s potential as well as my own until Vince Valenti (VinceValenti1) reached out and recommended I make my account public; at the time it was public for everyone to see, but only friends could message me. It just went from there!
SCSMM: Why do you think Snapchat has taken off?
Snapchat escalated when people decided not to fear disappearing content. People tend to jump back from things that are only temporary but, because of those who saw it as a challenge as opposed to a problem, that in itself probably helped to boost its success.
SCSMM: What do you like to Snap about?
I’m known as a Snapchat artist so I try incorporating my art, but my favorite thing to do is make people laugh with relatable content.
SCSMM: Why should everyone follow you on Snapchat and watch your stories every day?
Because I have a huge obsession with coffee and you get to throw it in my face on a daily basis.
SCSMM: What would you recommend someone do just starting out on Snapchat?
Literally, just do it. Furthermore, never EVER be afraid to ask anyone for help or advice. So many people are generally just scared and I used to be one of those people. The best advice I can give is what I live by every day for everything: and that is, whatever you do, OWN IT.
SCSMM: Have you ever been hired to represent a brand or product on Snapchat?
How do you develop your Snapchat stories? Are the spontaneous or do you plan them out?
Anything involving Snapchat art, for the most part, takes planning and time. On the other hand, I’ll find myself sitting in my car just ranting into my phone and posting to my story so, both. Creativity comes with anything you do no matter how you do it.
SCSMM: How do you think Snapchat has helped your life and business grow?
Here’s the thing, I love people. Unless they’re customers but, that’s different. Social Media in general is a confidence builder by default and all I need is for ONE person to tell me that I made their day, and it makes mine. Basically, the engagement of my followers helps me as much as I help them and that’s why Snapchat is so important.
SCSMM: Who are YOUR favorite influencers on SnapChat?
GaryVee, TristanTales, mPlatco
